mmm...part 3...
demos please...
1. GT5
2. Forza 3
3. NFS
That's 4 sure besides the fact each game has their pros and cons.
Or if fanboys/gals still won't be content, get a proper popular racecar driver ( fork out some money to get the likes of ex-F1 Schuey, maybe rallye legend Seb. Loeb or LeMans Allan McNish... ) to put out some valid comments on each game once all these titles are released.
All they needed was to take some tips off Uncharted combat/fight lay-out and controls to make gameplay intuitive.
It's good she can use background props as alternate weapons beside her own supply.
Making it open-world is a bit tricky... could lose out some good points that made the game famous.
And making her figure at most humanly realistic will be a plus.
These screens have one thing in common, they all have very badly detailed glass textures - everything that is covered in glass from headlamps, windscreens, windows and tail lamps.
Sure it won't concern gameplay, but I think it's still a valid comment to point out since they're showing us this shots anyway...
One word for this guy - " tribal " - one huge example is you're either go for a Chevrolet and detest Ford or the other way around and it goes on and on...
It's a sort of one-upmanship against the other and will forever be etched in everyones' culture, it's a bond that we need like religion and it just can't be killed-off in an instant.
As for this guy saying he's not fussing... well you are.
Demos ultimately make or break any game sales... while screenshots and in-game video footage are just the appetizers.
In the latest Underworld game the story seems to say that it is going to be continued...
...but with this upcoming game it will be a prequel, so we'll get to see a more younger and inexperienced Lara and how her journey all began.
I think that it's a good idea, maybe a good re-think for the series.
Maybe these guys should play Uncharted more and take some tips from that game.
It looks like a mock-up... and I think judging by the logo it looks fake.
Also over in the Phil. there are a lot of and I mean tons of fake items that you couldn't tell from the real deal, I'm not bagging the country but when you go to the main capital it's just everywhere.
... Oh and that pic resembles Rhona Mitra from Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
If Eidos could make Lara similar to Rhona's features can't complain.
I certainly don't mind the puzzle adventures, it's the fighting strategies and how they lay it out ( intuitiveness ) that's the problem.
Really I don't want to compare this with Uncharted ( which I believe is now the benchmark ) but in a way maybe Eidos should get some tips on that game.
And for goodness sake make her look taller and face somewhat more realistic, figure's fine but do give us more clothing options on every quest.
I am so much expecting for this 2nd series to be more awesome.
Also very nice of them to share some really good in-game footage for us to base.
Honestly there are a lot of minute details missing... they're not really that important because in the end it's game-play that will vindicate every game.
So let's stop all this showing-off screenshots after screenshots and come-out with a demo already.
Forza 3 will be mostly for modding - GT5 for racing/driving.
It's a bit like going backwards without weather effects...
Awesome link you put in there Ultimate Revenge.
Now that is detail!
One thing that bothers me is why didn't they mention when it's so visually clear the inclusion of Japanese Super GT Series in the game... there's the Xanavi Nissan GTR or the Takata Dome NSX etc...
...it also honestly shows the Citroen GT "nearly" but not clipping the Dodge Viper in the trailer.
Highlights would be Nurburgring and UK TopGear test track shown in trailer ( and will be the popular ones that will be used by us gamers' when game is released ).
That's why GranTurismo is King and will always be benchmarked by other race/driving game developers.
Ok?,ok.
It's got WRC a bit of JSGT 350/500, even though I dislike NASCAR it's there for those that are into this sort of trash... also LeMans LMP cars and some concept cars...
... definite damage-mode and weather effects ( with possible physics affected ).
Plus steering wheel hardware compatibility is easier on the wallet to purchase.
I do like the varied road imperfections plus those tire markings on the pavement and stunning backdrops.
Will be waiting for LeMans in-game vid.
Wow!, thanks for posting this.
That is awesome!
Good on Disney for getting Jeff Bridges to reprise his role.
Trailer looks tops!, thought during it's time Tron was quite revolutionary in pushing videogames as a story and it's technical influence.
